Dantalian no Shoka

Last Updated: Sep 02, 2011

9.75 (excellent) The introductions were shaky, but it really caught me. The two leads were very charismatic and Dalian is a very pleasant protagonist. I also like the relationship between the two, and the other interesting characters.

Although each story it seems, is a lead to a psychotic beautiful woman. And everything has something to do with a book. But what was I even to expect anyway? All those aside, I love the animation and how specific they get to the books. I appreciate the variations of settings per episode and the voice acting is great! I instantly fell inlove with this series and I hope it does not disappoint!

9.50 (excellent) It broke free of the "Moe" wave that I felt the anime industry was having.
The main lead was really built as a "pathetic" anti-hero, while everybody else around him had everything figured out. The characters, scripts, and scenes were all very well written. The animation is on average, as it could be better. And the action is good. The censorship at times isn't needed, but hey! Despite that, it has the whole morbid theme done perfectly.

A tad bit too short, but it's one heck of an anime to watch.

7.00 (above average) Funny and a unique theme. I like the heroine, and of course her Lord Edgar is also as cool.
Very strong characters here as well, and when I mean strong... I mean personality wise!
It's not the sort of anime that will change your life or anything, but neither will it stress you out.
So it's a pretty cool watch for leisure ~

Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

9.25 (very good) Although the pairing is a bit of a cliche, I mean the student body president...smart but uncaring for personal relationships. And the hottest guy in school who's also the smartest ends up in a one-sided relationship with the president.
Though the characters are really quite strong and different. The style is also something.

I really like this anime and the humanity of the leads. And the weird ero humor of the main male lead. (yes, I'm currently at a block as to what their name's are...)

Kampfer

Last Updated: May 16, 2010

9.50 (excellent) Fine, it's an Ecchi anime. But can you blame me for liking it? XP
Of course you can't! Anyway, the story is nice. Though the fact of the Kampfer's being only women is something strange. And that the main lead is a Zauber type yet he only wields fire. (Or should I address him as her? ) Anyway! Fairly entertaining! And they never run out of things to make hilarious.

Love the scenarios Natsuru ends up in. And she is a pretty well endowed girl when it comes down to it.

9.25 (very good) A reverse harem with classical music...
Heck yeah!! It's fairly nice, and gives you that "tense" feeling at times. Specially at the competitions wherein there's always something bound to go wrong for someone. You feel their grief, their tension, and their want to get better.

This series made me want to play the violin! And wear a dress as well!
Magical anime really! And the colors of this one, just stunning.

9.25 (very good) It's pretty bizarre,
If you're into the "mystery" genre and an old fashioned way of speaking...
(As well as presenting) I'd suggest this anime for you. The movement is quite different, and the presentation is much like Kabuki ! But it gives off the creepy aura that you want in a horror anime.

Very nicely done actually! Loved it.

Ouran High School Host Club

9.75 (excellent) Absolute Moe for the lead character Haruhi! Though she doesn't act like your normal cliched character. She's pretty awesome, and each one of the host club members are just lovely! I loved every one of them! But of course, who could resist the Prince Tamaki Suoh! Watch out for heart throbbing action! One of the best love comedy present to it's day~

Made me have shivers at the end, it's just that awesome!

Prince of Tennis

9.50 (excellent) The first series was really nice! I loved every bit of the series. Near the end, was really heart rending! I loved how Ryoma Echizen respects Tezuka and all his upper class men. It's a good series to watch, but quite long and has a couple of OVA's that aren't even finished yet. I think the movie was over the top though the live drama was also good! Every one of the series was amazing!

Shakugan no Shana

Last Updated: May 14, 2010

7.50 (good) There are tons of this series, so yeah... I'm like in the middle of the first season.
I'd say, Shana's pretty ok. Your basic heroine, built to kill and has somehow been pierced by magical love~
Though all of the characters seem interesting, it's just that... I've seen far too many anime with the same archetypes. And the lead having red hair is sort of common during a certain period of time. Guess, I just watched this a little bit late huh?

But in all! It's a pretty good anime! And Shana's an ok character.

8.50 (very good) One of the cutest love comedies I've seen so far. (Not that I watch a lot of these) Anyway! I like how dense Hikari was in the entire series. And how innocent she is up until the end. Very nice pairing! Though at times you an just pity Kei. Feel for you dude!

great series to watch! Hilarious and gives you the lovey-dovey feeling~!

Steins Gate

9.50 (excellent) The main character makes a science themed anime amusing, and I don't usually watch this types of anime.

The voice actors are really great as they all have quirky habits per character. I love all of them! The mortality of the characters are pretty good, you can't really guess what's going to happen next each time they "time leap". Though I'm not too fond of the canon pairing between Okabe and Makise Kurisu, it's ok just the same.
A good watch, and am waiting for more!

Umineko no Naku Koro ni

7.75 (good) The anime gets redundant, and confusing.
The same people die...more than twice... thought it is fairly interesting.
Plot is refreshing, character design so-so, and background story for each character is ok as it is.
Nice! But gets you a bit frustrated at the beginning, but of course it gets clearer and much better.
It's really Lolita galore in this one though! Not that I'm one to complain.

Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru

Last Updated: May 16, 2010

8.25 (good) Sometimes, the pacing is rather slow... and sometimes it's just decent.
I like Yuki just right, but Luka is really a formidable character. He's loyalty is also to be admired.
I also like the animation style!! Really nice...

Too bad the episodes are slow on the update. But of course, it's worth the wait~!

Vampire Knight

Last Updated: May 16, 2010

6.75 (above average) Ok, lowest of the low for an anime that's well loved. I know...
But don't get me wrong, it's just that I expected more out of it. But it disappointed me. It sort of built up the story too much that I expected a little more than it could offer.

Though, character wise, I'd say Kaname, Yuki, and Zero would get 9's out of 10 for me. But I'm rating the thing as a whole. So too bad~
